Full Rehabilitation

  • Veterinarian Referral Mandatory
  • Whole body evaluation with the Acuscope and a full set of Thermal Images pre/post rehab.
  • Boarding at L2 Acuscoping or Veterinarian Clinic Mandatory (Generally the price of sessions, gas,  availability gets in the way with rehab offered at owners facility)
  • Veterinarian rechecks mandatory every 45 days (unless Veterinarian adjusts these times)
  • All supplementations and medications owner is to provide or have shipped to L2 Acuscoping during patients stay if needed.

Chronic Maintenance

  • These patients will already have a Veterinarian Approval on File.
  • Maintenance patients will all vary from case to case.
  • This program will be discussed per individual.
  • I will assist in finding a qualified therapist closer to you if needed.
  • Some examples:
  • 4-5 sessions a month
  • Pre and Post sessions after  events
  • A weeks worth of sessions every other month
  • 1 to 2 sessions every once in awhile does not manage Chronic Symptoms.

Pre/Post Performance Care

  • Startup series of 3 consecutive sessions mandatory.
  • 2-3 days pre performance is ideal to start sessions followed by each day before you compete.
  • Pre sessions need to be completed 2 to 4 hours out depending on drugs administered.
  • Followed by post sessions 1 hour after competition or when patient returns home
  • This is a perfect world scenario and I will always try to accommodate patients as need be as long as compromising benefits does not happen.

In Clinic Sessions

  • In clinic sessions are completely customized per case and veterinarians treatment protocols.

  • Sessions seen in this program are usually extreme wound cases, pre/post surgery care, immobilized injuries, and neurological help.

Do I Travel, Or work events ?

  • Yes, I will travel depending on some deciding factors.
  •  How many rehab patients I have in my barn at that time.
  • If it's going to actually provide true benefit to your athlete or if another option would better benefit the patient.

New Patient requirements

  1. All Patients are required to have Veterinarian approval ( I will call and verify the approval)
  2. A start up series is required which is 3 Sessions (1 a day for 3 days, or 1 session every 12 hours will work as well. )
  3.  After the start up series, evaluation and thermal images are complete, we will reevaluate what type of program will fit the patient the best.

HeadS up

I understand completely that animals will be animals. However, for the safety of all parties  involved, and for the safety of all other rehab patients, boarding of an animal that is out right displaying unmanageable behavior will be asked to be picked up immediately. If a canine patient is outright untouchably aggressive they will unfortunately be asked to leave. If Equine patients are down right scared of stalls, bandage changes or any procedures they are needing to aid in there rehab and are at risk of injuring themselves even more they will unfortunately have to be let go. Rehab is not the time to try new blankets, fly sheets and products the patient is not familiar with. Desensitizing homework is your job at home so I can do my job here. Thank you in advance.
